The franchise for 2026 is: cg 24.120,00

The franchise is an amount set annually based on Article 26 of the National Pension Ordinance.

It represents the portion of your income that forms the basis of your AOV (General Old-Age Pension)

The remaining part of your gross salary is called the Pension Base. APS calculates your pension based on this amount.

For example:
The franchise for 2026 is set at: Cg 24.120

Your Gross Annual Salary is: Cg 50,000

Your Pension Base will be:

Cg 50,000 minus Cg 24.120= Cg 25,880
